Ver\u00f3nica and Pedro have three daughters and hired a babysitter, Eva. Eva is English and spends the school year living at Ver\u00f3nica and Pedro\u2019s house. She takes care of their three daughters and teaches them English.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n \n<\/div>\n\n\n \n\n

\u201cEva and the girls share a special bond. I remember the weekend when Eva went on a trip to England. My daughters cried, even though they knew she would be coming back. I don\u2019t want to think about what it\u2019ll be like when she finally goes back to England for good. They\u2019ll miss her so much. Eva is like an older sister to them and they love her. They have lots of fun together, but she also helps them with their homework and they respect her.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n <\/div>\n \n <\/div>\n

Ver\u00f3nica: \u201cFirst of all, she loves my daughters. When she comes into the house, the first thing she\u2019ll do is to kiss and hug them. She\u2019s enormously empathic and very affectionate. She easily adjusts to their different ages and personalities. She likes to do different things with them, like crafting or dancing with them on the Wii. She\u2019s become a member of our family. We\u2019re all very happy to have her.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n <\/div>\n \n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n \n\n

Eva: \u201cFrom the start, we had a connection. I don\u2019t feel like I\u2019m away from home and I don\u2019t miss England because I feel like a part of the family. The girls are like little sisters to me. I like working with kids because they\u2019re straightforward, positive, their feelings are transparent, they\u2019re always enthusiastic, and are always willing to learn new things. When I hear them speak English now, I\u2019m so proud of them and of the work we\u2019ve done together.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n <\/div>\n \n <\/div>\n
