It feels like just yesterday that my weeks were filled with the excitement of being a new parent, and the anxiety of trying to find practical childcare solutions. With my wife\u2019s maternity leave winding down, an endless waitlist at the nearby daycare centers, and no local support network to rely on – we were beyond stressed, wondering where to turn.<\/p>\n

We were fortunate to figure something out, but our family\u2019s struggle made me realize that many other parents were likely asking themselves the same questions. On a quest to find an answer, I launched Sitly in the Netherlands back in 2009. In 2012, this passion project became a full-time company, and we have been growing ever since.<\/p>\n

Our community is now active across 4 continents, allowing parents around the world to connect with available babysitters instantly. The feedback and testimonials we get from our users prove we\u2019re on the right track when it comes to helping parents find a local babysitter or nanny who really cares about their work with children.
